Four ambiguous name matches are omitted. The ASIC Moneysmart Investor Alert List is linked separately under its source reuse terms.
The crypto warning database collects entities that appear on official regulator and authority warning lists, organized so you can search by exact name or domain and see who flagged them, when, and for what. It is a reference layer, not a verdict. Everything here sits inside CoinReckon's broader Crypto Warnings coverage.
What this database covers
This snapshot holds 6,267 republishable records captured on 2026-10-20 under methodology 1.3. Each row carries source columns: the authority that published the notice, the date it appeared, and the action it recorded. We keep the authority's own framing rather than restating it. Four entries with unresolved name conflicts were omitted from this snapshot because we could not disambiguate them with confidence, and they return once the identity is clear.
Scope is deliberately narrow and non-exhaustive. The database reflects what regulators have published, not the full universe of risky operators. Some sources are mirrored by link rather than republished. The ASIC investor alert list is one, and you reach it directly at moneysmart.gov.au.
Searching by exact name or domain
Search works on exact name and exact domain, and the domain field is the one that matters most. Scam operations clone the names of real projects and reuse well-known brands across throwaway websites, so a name alone rarely pins down the thing a regulator actually named. The domain is what separates the clone from the original.
A few entities carry canonical reference pages rather than ordinary review pages because their status is defined by sanctions or enforcement rather than service quality. HTX and Garantex route through the exchanges layer, and eXch routes through swaps. Those pages are informational. They carry no sign-up, deposit, or referral links.
How to read an entry: a checklist
Before you act on anything you find here, work through these points:
- Read the source column first. A warning from a named financial regulator is a different signal from an unverified complaint, and the database shows you which one you are looking at.
- Check the date. A notice has a publication date, a stale date means the situation may have moved, and this database's snapshot date is not a live status.
- Treat a listing as an authority's action, not our fraud finding. When a regulator warns about an entity, we report that the warning exists. Allegations stay allegations in our wording.
- Confirm the domain, not just the name. If the domain in front of you does not match the listed domain, you may be looking at a different operator entirely.
- Do not read absence as clearance. An entity missing from these lists has not been cleared by anyone, and no registry absence supports a safety conclusion.
What a listing does and does not mean
A warning entry records that an authority took a public action against a named entity. It does not represent an independent CoinReckon investigation into that entity, and it is not a court finding. Where regulators describe conduct as alleged, we keep it alleged. Dated evidence has limits: a record captured months ago reflects that moment, and the people behind a scheme often rebrand, so the same operation can reappear under a new name and a new domain.
We offer no recovery service and make no promise to help retrieve lost funds. There are no affiliate links or commercial relationships anywhere in this layer, so nothing in the database is placed or ordered to favor a paying party.
Updates, limits, and reporting an error
This page reflects a snapshot dated 2026-10-20. The publication date is not a fact-check date, and we do not promise live verification of any individual entry. The warning hub itself surfaces ten selected status pages plus the full search index, so you can start from a curated set or query the snapshot directly.
If a record looks wrong, out of date, or confused with another entity, tell us through Contact and we will review it against the source. The full ruleset behind inclusion, source ranking, and dating lives in our Methodology.
This is general information, not personal financial or legal advice. Use it to decide what to verify next, not as a final judgment on any entity.
