OneKey builds non-custodial hardware wallets, and the model this review covers is the OneKey Pro at $278. Everything below comes from a documentary evidence record dated September 26, 2026. No device was bought, unboxed, wiped or restored for this page, so read it as a record of what the company and the public documents state, plus our reading of what that means for a US buyer.
Who this hardware wallet suits
The Pro is the device OneKey's own explainer calls its most advanced model, and a third-party review of the line labels it the flagship 24. It fits a reader who signs on multiple chains, wants the transaction details parsed and shown on the device rather than trusted from a phone screen, and is comfortable carrying the whole recovery burden alone.
That last part is the trade-off worth naming up front. Signing is strong on paper: the documented model displays the parsed transaction on the device itself before you approve 2. Recovery is plain BIP-39, a 12, 18 or 24 word seed with an optional passphrase, and the evidence record records no Shamir split and no microSD backup option 4. One phrase, written once, is the whole safety net.
Device model, cost and availability
Price first, since it drives most decisions here. The Pro is listed at $278, and the same lineup runs from a $25.90 seed backup card through a $79 battery-free Classic 1S Pure to the $99 Classic 1S 2. OneKey earns nothing from your trades; the money is in the hardware.
The official shop page records global shipping with free shipping over $99, plus separate Amazon storefronts for the US, Canada and Mexico 15. As of September 26, 2026, US availability is documented as yes, and the shop page carries no list of excluded states. New York sits in its own scope in our record and is not inherited from the national line: the evidence record finds no New York restriction on buying the device, and NYDFS money transmission or BitLicense frameworks do not govern the sale of a physical non-custodial wallet. Shipping cost to a specific US address, duties and sales tax are not in this evidence record, so treat $278 as the device price and nothing else.
Two identity points matter before you hand over a card. OneKey was founded in 2019 with its headquarters in Hong Kong, and the entity named in the official site's copyright is ONEKEY LIMITED 2. There is a German company with a near-identical name, ONEKEY GmbH, running an IoT product-security platform on a different domain; it is a separate business and none of its details belong to the wallet maker.
Signing, connectivity and compatibility
Four ways in: USB-C, Bluetooth, NFC, and a QR flow through the device's own camera that keeps the signing device off any cable or radio link 4. The screen is a color touchscreen, which is what makes the parsed-transaction display readable instead of a scroll of truncated hex. Clear signing is documented as supported, meaning the device itself breaks out and shows what you are approving rather than relying on the host app's version of it 2.
Chain coverage in our record is 100 blockchains as of September 26, 2026 4. Published counts vary between reviews of the Pro and broader write-ups of the wallet line; the record keeps 100 because it comes from reviews describing the flagship specifically. If your holdings sit on one or two niche networks, check them by name on the vendor's own asset list before ordering, because a headline count tells you nothing about the chain you actually use.
| Documented item | Value and scope (dated) | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Flagship model and price | OneKey Pro, $278, checked September 26, 2026 24 | Compare against the $99 Classic 1S if touchscreen and air-gap aren't needed |
| Chain support | 100 blockchains, flagship Pro, September 26, 2026 4 | Verify your specific networks by name, not by the total |
| Clear signing | Documented as supported, on-device parsing, September 26, 2026 2 | Reduces exposure to a tampered host app swapping transaction data |
| Connectivity | USB-C, Bluetooth, NFC and camera-based QR, September 26, 2026 4 | QR lets you keep the signer offline; Bluetooth and NFC are optional conveniences |
| Recovery model | BIP-39, 12, 18 or 24 words, optional passphrase 4 | Your written phrase is the only documented restore path |
| US availability | Yes, no excluded states listed, September 26, 2026 15 | Ordering is open nationally on the record we hold; shipping and tax totals are not in this evidence record |
Recovery model and security history
Recovery runs on the BIP-39 standard with an optional passphrase, so a phrase written on paper or steel is the restore path, and a lost phrase is a lost balance 4. The optional passphrase adds a second secret you also have to store and remember. Nobody at OneKey can reset it for you, which is the point of a non-custodial device and also its failure mode.
On transparency, two things are documented. The firmware and app are published as open source with a vendor guide for checking that signed firmware matches the released code, and security audits have been published, with the company citing SlowMist audit work, ISO/IEC 27001 certification and four independent secure elements rated EAL6+ in the Pro 2. An audit covers what the auditor was given at the time it ran. It is not a warranty on the device in your hand.
The incident record holds one dated entry. In 2023, a man-in-the-middle flaw registered as CVE-2023-25758 allowed seed phrase extraction on OneKey Touch firmware before 4.0.0 and OneKey Mini firmware before 2.10.0 12. The affected models are earlier devices in the line, not the Pro. The flaw went through a public disclosure process and was patched, no publicly confirmed theft of user funds is on record, and the compensation field in our record reads not applicable, which follows from a patched vulnerability with no documented losses. A 2023 firmware bug does not tell you the current firmware is flawless; it tells you the company has handled a disclosure in the open once.
What remains outside this review
Nothing here is a hands-on result. Setup time, build quality after a year in a pocket, and a real restore from a written phrase onto a replacement device were not performed for this page, and a documentary review cannot stand in for any of them.
Four gaps in the evidence record are worth knowing. The registration jurisdiction and street address behind ONEKEY LIMITED are not in it, only the name from the site copyright 2. The shop page gives no country-by-country shipping restriction list, only the general global shipping statement 15. App Store and Google Play star ratings for the companion app are not recorded. Whether the Pro signs classic Bitcoin multisig through PSBT is not settled by this data either. An empty field means our record is silent, not that the feature is missing.
How to choose for your custody needs
Work through this before you spend $278, and stop at the first line that fails.
- Identity and geography: you are buying from ONEKEY LIMITED, a Hong Kong based brand, shipping to a US address with no excluded state listed as of September 26, 2026 15.
- Intended operation: list the exact chains and token standards you sign on and confirm each one, rather than trusting the 100-chain total 4.
- Documented cost limit: budget $278 for the Pro plus shipping and any sales tax, which this evidence record does not quantify; the $99 Classic 1S is the cheaper path if you can live without touchscreen and air-gap 2.
- Custody boundary: no support desk can restore your funds, so decide where the BIP-39 phrase and any passphrase physically live before the box arrives 4.
- Next step: if every line holds, buy from the official shop or its listed Amazon storefront and verify firmware against the published source using the vendor's own instructions 215.
A reader who wants multisig-first Bitcoin workflows or a cheaper air-gapped signer should weigh alternatives in the category hub instead of defaulting to the flagship.
Quick questions
Which OneKey model does this review cover? The OneKey Pro at $278, the flagship of the line 24. Cheaper models in the same family, including the $99 Classic 1S, have different hardware and are not assessed here.
What recovery and connection options are documented? Recovery is a BIP-39 seed of 12, 18 or 24 words with an optional passphrase, and the connection options on record are USB-C, Bluetooth, NFC and camera-based QR 4. No alternative backup scheme appears in this evidence record.
Was a recovery test performed for this review? No. This page is built from company documentation, a public vulnerability record and third-party reviews, with no device purchase, setup or restore attempt behind it.
Next step: match the checklist above against your own chain list and backup plan, then compare the Pro with a related service profile before you order. Our criteria are set out in how CoinReckon assesses services, and other entity pages sit in all crypto service reviews. Found a price or firmware detail that has moved since the dates above?
